VTBR takes on dogs needing medical care. This is very expensive. These dogs go to the upper Northwest area of the U.S. They pull many different breeds. VTBR 

Nala and Friends Dog Rescue is a local San Antonio rescue that pulls from the San Antonio City Animal Shelter (ACS). The majority of the dogs saved come from the ACS Kill Room. NAFDR

Based in Colorado, Red Fern pulls bigger breeds like Shepherds & Pit Bulls. A small rescue, but somehow finds great homes in record time mostly in Colorado. Red Fern Animal Rescue

Dog Tired /P.A.W.S is a local Rescue saving ACS dogs from Euthanasia. Being a smaller rescue they can use any help they can get. Donations of time or money  help tremendously.
